Yoga in Brooklyn can be found at Yoga People's Om-filled oasis in Brooklyn Heights, New York. For 16 years, Yoga People has been serving the local community and beyond. We offer a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Registered yoga teacher training program, as well as a range of classes from intermediate to Absolute Beginner yoga.
Our outstanding teachers set us apart, and are experienced leading first-time students to students deepening their yoga practice or becoming teachers themselves. Yoga People provides a supportive and encouraging environment for your practice.

Join us for an Open House Information Session. Learn about our 200 hour RYS program, hear from a graduated Trainee, and learn answers to all of your TT questions. Open to all, no charge.
200 Hour Teacher Training
Fall 2014 program starts September 26th.
Yoga People’s 200-hour Teacher Training program is designed for individuals with passion for yoga. This Vinyasa training will immerse you in yoga, yogic philosophy, and intensive asana instruction. It will also transform the way you practice and give you the tools necessary to teach.
New Classes Coming in the Fall!
Yoga People will be offering a Tuesday class that will be starting on 9/9, and a Thursday class that will be starting on 9/11. Also a new Iyengar Restorative class will be starting on Saturday, 9/27 from 2:00-3:15PM

Absolute Beginners Course
Next course will be meeting Sundays at 2:00PM from 9/14 - 10/5
Our Beginners courses are designed to provide you with a basic foundation in yoga. In this four week progressive course, our instructors will teach you the basic yoga postures, breathing, and relaxation techniques. You will meet with the same teacher and students in an intimate and nurturing setting. In this course, you will become more flexible, reduce stress and start a path to overall well-being.
